This operating manual (hereinafter referred to as the “manual”) will enable you to operate the IRE 3 heat-er (hereinafter referred to as the “device”) safely. The manual describes the device manufactured by HEYLO GmbH (hereinafter referred to as HEYLO).

The device has been designed and manufactured according to best engineering practice and conforms to all relevant safety rules. However, incorrect op-eration can pose a risk to life and limb of the opera-tor or third parties, and/or cause damage to the de-vice and other property.

Information on electrical equipment

- The device is electrically powered. There is a risk of fatal injury from incorrect installation of the electrical system or from a failure of the insula-tion during operation.
- All work on the electrical equipment must be car-ried out by a qualified electrician. Always keep switch boxes closed.
- The power supply from the electrical mains is disconnected when the main switch is switched off.
- After completion of any work on the device, en-sure that all safety devices work properly.
- Do not make unauthorised modifications to the device.

- Switch off the device, pull out the plug and allow the device to cool down before lifting or moving it.
- Do not position the device right below a wall socket.

For the operation of the device, observe the follow-ing general rules:
- The device must only be operated by persons who have been properly instructed in its opera-tion.
- Do not modify, dismantle or disable safety de-vices. The safety devices must be inspected at regular intervals.
- All guards, covers and hoods must be correctly installed.
- Do not make structural modifications to the de-vice.
- Do not operate the device if its power cord is de-fective.
- Never pull the plug by the power cord.

Notes on fire protection

- WARNING! To prevent overheating, never cover the device.
- Keep the protective grille unobstructed and free of dirt. Reduced air flow can lead to overheating of the device. Do not operate the device near curtains or other objects that might come into contact with the heating rods or might block its air inlet.

- Do not operate or store the device in aggressive atmospheres, or areas where there might be combustible gases, gas-air or dust-air mixtures.
- Do not use in areas where the device can suck in flammable small parts such as wood shavings or straw.

The device is designed for indoor use, on construc-tion sites, in garages and in storage spaces / rooms. The device operates efficiently:
- within the specified temperature and humidity range, see Technical details [ 24]
- In enclosed rooms
- if there are no objects between the device and the item to be heated
Inadmissible operating conditions can impair the operational safety and the performance of the de-vice. Inadmissible operating conditions must there-fore be avoided at all times.

- The device is a heater devised for operation in closed rooms.
- The device must not be used in rooms and envi-ronments with explosive atmospheres, combus-tible liquids or gases.
- Do not use the device outdoors in damp weath-er, in bathrooms or in other damp среди.
- The device must never be operated in the im-mediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers, wash ba-sins or swimming pools.

- Only use extension cords that meet the perfor-mance data on the type plate, as there is other-wise a risk of overload.
Keep extension cables as short as possible and only ever use them when they are fully extend-ed. - Connect the device to a power socket that is earthed or protected by an integrated RC circuit breaker.
- Only ever operate one device from one socket to prevent overloading.
- Do not switch the device on automatically with a timer or similar device.

The device is a lightweight, portable unit that pro-duces radiation heat. The device is suitable for spot heating (e.g. of machines or workplaces) and for heating enclosed spaces (e.g. warehouses, work-shops, construction sites, greenhouses).

The device can be clearly identified by means of the rating plate on the rear of the device housing.

The device is a compact and portable unit that pro-duces radiation heat.
The device must only be operated:
- for the purpose for which it is intended

The device is a radiation heater equipped with three infrared heating rods. The infrared heating rods pro-vide uniform radiation heat.
The heating output of the device is controlled by means of two device switches.
The infrared heating rods are protected by a protec-tive grille to prevent direct contact with flammable materials.

The device is designed to produce radiation heat by means of infrared heating rods. The radiation heat is suitable for spot heating and for heating large, poorly insulated indoor spaces.
Intended use also includes compliance with the op-erating conditions (see Operating conditions [ 18]).
Any use other than the specified is deemed improp-er. Improper use shall void all warranty cover.

If safety devices are not installed properly or config-ured incorrectly, there is a risk of injury. Do not modify, dismantle or disable safety devices. All safe-ty devices must be freely accessible at all times.
Familiarize yourself with all the safety devices; this way personal injury and/or damage to property can be prevented or minimized.
The device is equipped with a tilt switch. The tilt switch automatically switches off the device, if it has toppled over. When the device is again brought into an upright position, it is automatically switched on.

The heater can be set to the following heat output levels:
- Switch on 800 W switch: Heating at output level 1, 800 W.
- Switch on 1600 W switch: Heating at output level 2, 1600 W.
- Switch on both 800 W and 1600 W switches: Heating at output level 3, 2400 W.
Transport and commissioning
The device has been assembled, configured and tested at the factory.

Mount the device heat on the housing base. The necessary parts and screws are included in the packaging and must be mounted prior to switching on the device for the first time.

Installing device on site
When installing the device, please observe the fol-lowing:
- transport the device using the carry handle.
- for best performance, the device should be op-erated in closed rooms.

Checking and cleaning the device

- Depending on where the device is used, dust and dirt can affect the performance of the de-vice. The intervals between cleaning may need to be reduced.

Изхвърляне
The device is primarily made of recyclable materials. It does not represent any danger to the operator and the environment when handled properly. However, operation of the device may lead to the generation of waste and waste water containing harmful and/or environmentally hazardous substances (air filters and condensate). These materials must be disposed of properly according to the statutory regulations.
The individual components of the device (e.g. pumps, metal components, etc.) must be taken to a qualified disposal and recycling company. Commis-sion a qualified, specialist company to dispose of and recycle the device.
